With over 5 billion people sending and receiving SMS every day, it is still one of the most popular communication channels. It is Omnichat’s main priority to make your business more accessible and engage with your customers on their preferred channels. That’s why WhatsApp, which has more than 2 billion active users, and Viber, with more than 1 billion active users are integrated. Communication with a business on a familiar, reliable, and secure platform is appreciated by customers.

The app version supports WhatsApp, SMS and Viber communication channels. Stay tuned for some new features our team is already working on (smile)

Only one account per instance

It is not possible to connect one Infobip account with different Jira Service Management instances. Please don't share your Infobip account.

Create your Infobip account

Get your API Key

To use Infobip for Jira Service Management, you will need to provide your Infobip API Key. With the username and password, you can generate one or more API keys and use them as the authorisation for the Jira Service Management.

Add a Keyword for the phone number

There is one important step before you switch to Jira Service Management configuration and configure the communication channel. Define the SMS configuration you want to use with this number.

  1. Visit Channels and Numbers section and open Numbers

  2. Click on the Phone number

  3. Click on Add Keyword button

  4. Set following configuration:

    1. Add a keyword → It is only required for the shared (test) number

    2. Forwarding: Forward to HTTP

    3. Method: POST

    4. Format: JSON

    5. URL: https://jsdinfobip.cloud.veniture.net/api/v2/message/receive

  5. Click on Save button

For shared number URL should be like this: https://jsdinfobip.cloud.veniture.net/api/v2/message/receive/KEYWORD

Keyword is defined under a) and it is required for shared numbers.

Keyword

If you use the shared (test) number, you MUST  add a keyword and use it anytime you send a broadcast message. For dedicated (bought) numbers, keyword is an optional parameter.

Buy a number

Once you use your free messages and want to keep communicating over our platform, you need to upgrade to a paying account:

  1. Leave your correct address.

  2. Choose the online payment method.

  3. Add money to the account balance.

  4. Open Channels and Numbers section from sidebar navigation and click on Numbers.

  5. Buy a number.

Prices for SMS can be found on the pricing page. The paying model is prepaid, pay-as-you-go per message sent. If you need help with your account or your country is not on the list, please click here.
